SILICON DREAMS. ART, SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY IN THE EUROPEAN UNION
Silicon Dreams draws attention to the currency for transdisciplinary practice across Science, Technology and Art. The project highlights emerging art forms, exploring creative influences, experimentation and innovation in the field. It represents the complexity and diversity from an ever evolving perspective reflecting broad categories of practice including BioArt, Articifial Life, Robotics, Telematics, Wearable Technologies, Immersive and Interactive Environments, amongst others. The underlying intention behind the exhibition is not to provide a comprehensive survey of the field, either contemporary or historical in character, but to highlight key moments and outstanding ideas that have been driving the development of creative ideas.
